Does it come wrapped in a tie? A suit? An ultra-refined sales pitch? Is that what professionalism is to you?
I'm suggesting it's not. Maybe not at all. Perhaps that is what it was a year ago, maybe even for the past 50 to 100 years, but not anymore.
I think I might even suggest that you be wary of 'so-called' professionals that shroud themselves with suits, ties and cuff links. And it's not just a matter of style... especially when you are the only one doing it.
Yes, there are certainly times when you should look ultra-slick, and dress like this, but dressing up like this - again, I am suggesting this - only convinces me that one is attempting to con me. {Not always}
Personally, I have many ties. I am not fond of them because they go around my neck, and that seems strange to me.
