I just read a quote about the manager of MJ being a 'genius' in the early 80's when 'Thriller' was released and how releasing 'Beat It' was completely outrageous since 'Billie Jean' was already at Number 1. Turned out, the manager just took advantage of an opportunity staring him in the face... genius, I think not...
