I have a relentless affection for the music of The Beatles, the city of New York and the way guitars work.
Grew up in Florida and attended the University of Florida. After school I decided to move to the Big Apple, where I was able to pursue a career in music.
For 6 years I played in some of the world's most amazing venues while watching a city - the greatest city - repair itself after September 11th.
To live in NYC during that time and to be a part of the cultural occasion by playing music during the smoldering ashes that once was the World Trade Center has shaped me in more ways than I am even able to understand.
While I was living in NYC, cultivating my craft, during one of the most difficult trials our nation has ever faced, I was also faced with watching my father battle lymphoma - which he ultimately lost, at the age of 54 on May 21st, 2004.
Today, I live in Florida and have developed new passions, new ideals and - you could say - new values... and they are sprawled throughout this 'weblog' - for better or for worse - and for richer or poorer.
